PMP Certified Project Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing the planning and coordination of IDLS projects for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the full-time PMP Certified Project Manager will manage project activities, ensure objectives are met within defined parameters, and introduce modern solutions to improve client business processes, with a preference for candidates located in the Fort Meade area.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction by integrating internal, subcontract, and customer staff into cohesive teams
- Monitor project lifecycle, deliver status reports, and ensure program profitability through financial assessments and accurate forecasting
- Interface with clients to assess objectives, evaluate risks, and suggest improvements across the DISA architecture
Required qualifications
- BS degree with 8-10 years of project and program management experience; experience can substitute for education
- Proven success in managing large, technically complex projects within a DISA environment
- Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred
- PMP certification is highly desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with application development and infrastructure preferred
