Podcast Producer

Job Summary

Leading the development and production of the Overheard Sports podcast, the experienced Podcast Producer will manage all stages of production remotely on a contract basis, including guest booking, editorial development, and post-production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of video podcasts, including booking high-profile guests and managing talent communication
• Develop episode concepts and produce segments while coordinating production logistics and timelines
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize content performance and ensure high creative standards are met

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience producing comedy, sports, or personality-driven podcasts
• Strong editorial instincts with a deep understanding of compelling conversational content
• Experience overseeing all aspects of podcast production, from development to distribution
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple productions simultaneously
• Background in unscripted digital media, sports, or comedy programming, with existing relationships in the industry
