Policy Analyst

Job Summary

To support the evolving landscape of AI policy in public benefits, the remote Policy Analyst will translate complex policies into actionable decisions, conduct research on policy implications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance government services.

Key responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences while identifying regulatory constraints and proposing solutions
• Conduct landscape and comparative policy research to monitor evolving policies and synthesize findings for various audiences
• Create decision-making artifacts and support testing and validation of policy implementation

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in policy analysis or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Hands-on experience with public benefit programs or highly regulated domains
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners
• Ability to document research processes and synthesize analyses into clear recommendations
• Experience contributing to public comments or policy proposals in a legislative or advocacy context
