Policy Analyst III

Job Summary

To support the ARX Policy team within the CDC Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, the full-time remote Policy Analyst III will develop policy documents, respond to congressional inquiries, and coordinate activities among stakeholders while ensuring effective communication on antimicrobial resistance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responses to congressional inquiries and create relevant policy documents for distribution to stakeholders
• Interpret scientific data and translate it into accessible materials for public and congressional inquiries
• Coordinate meetings and activities with partners, including logistics, agendas, and documentation

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in public policy, public administration, or political science
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public policy, policy analysis, or public administration
• Experience in developing and executing partnership strategies related to public health
• Ability to manage data and information collection from various stakeholders
• Familiarity with antimicrobial resistance topics and relevant public health policies
