Job Summary
Supporting the United States Postal Service (USPS) remotely, the consultant-level Policy Specialist will assess, adjudicate, and update USPS policies, streamline operations, and facilitate client interactions while assisting the Task Lead with coordination and administrative duties.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and writing of policies and policy-related materials to direct work processes
- Consult closely with policy owners and stakeholders to draft and edit policy language
- Coordinate and support engagement with USPS stakeholders to develop implementation plans for policy execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in public policy, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience supporting federal government clients, including 3 years in a client-facing role
- Experience facilitating multi-stakeholder engagements with documented outcomes
- Proven ability to brief senior executives and develop clear, concise recommendations
- Exceptional writing skills demonstrated through formal deliverables such as policy memos and operational guidance documents
