Job Summary
Supporting the United States Postal Service (USPS) remotely, the full-time Policy Specialist will assess, adjudicate, and update USPS policies while facilitating client interactions and coordinating project tasks to enhance policy management processes.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and writing of policies and related materials to guide work processes
- Consult with policy owners and stakeholders to draft and edit policy language effectively
- Coordinate with USPS stakeholders to track task progress and ensure compliance with implementation plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in public policy, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience supporting federal government clients, with at least 3 years in a client-facing role
- Demonstrated experience facilitating multi-stakeholder engagements with documented outcomes
- Proven ability to brief senior executives and develop concise recommendations
- Exceptional writing skills demonstrated through formal deliverables such as policy memos or executive briefings
