Job Summary
To support student learning, the part-time Political Science Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, engaging with students through live lectures, discussion boards, and timely feedback while maintaining curriculum standards.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses, ensuring student engagement and course completion
- Conduct weekly outreach to students, providing support and feedback through the Blackboard Learning Management System
- Participate in faculty development opportunities and assist with curriculum maintenance as a subject matter expert
Required qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field from an accredited institution
- Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related discipline
- Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level (preferred)
- Provide own equipment, including a computer and reliable internet access
- Be available for teaching and student engagement during evenings and weekends
