Post Award Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Managing post-award financial operations, the full-time remote Post Award Financial Analyst will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for a portfolio of grants and contracts while collaborating with Principal Investigators and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Present financial information and recommendations through data analysis and reporting to develop and maintain budgets
• Develop proposals and budgets for grant and contract submissions, ensuring compliance with sponsor regulations and university policies
• Plan and prioritize actions across multiple awards, advising principal investigators on financial issues and managing grant renewals and closeouts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Two years of related financial experience required
• Demonstrated application of financial, accounting, and economic concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
• Prior experience with grants and contract administration preferred
