Post-Doctoral Researcher

Job Summary

To support advanced research initiatives, the full-time Post-Doctoral Researcher will collaborate with faculty on projects related to critical care, patient safety, and digital innovation, while receiving mentored training and contributing to grant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute research focused on the prevention of central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI) and safe care for individuals with tracheostomies
• Contribute to the development of competitive grant applications and engage in scholarly activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams and assist in managing research protocols and data analysis

Required qualifications

• Earned PhD or equivalent research doctorate in a relevant field such as Nursing, Health Science, or Biomedical Informatics
• Experience with human-subjects, clinical, or health-services research
• Demonstrated interest in critical care, patient safety, and technology-enabled healthcare research
• Evidence of scholarly productivity through publications or presentations
• Strong organizational and data management skills, with the ability to learn research software tools like REDCap
