Post-Pay Audit Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of auditors, the remote Post-Pay Audit Manager will oversee daily operations, performance metrics, and quality assurance for retrospective audits across commercial and government payers while ensuring compliance and maximizing revenue recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily audit operations across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of deliverables
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to audit staff, promoting a high-performance team culture
• Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular audit reviews to ensure compliance and identify underpayment patterns

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical auditing, revenue cycle management, or claims recovery
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably with remote or offshore management experience
• Solid knowledge of government audit programs and commercial payer policies
• Proficiency in healthcare billing, medical coding, and EOB analysis
