Job Summary
To support students in their post-secondary journeys, the full-time or part-time Post-Secondary Counselor will provide personalized guidance in a remote setting, focusing on college admissions, career preparation, and utilizing college readiness tools.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic 1:1 counseling and teaching experiences through credit-bearing courses and enrichment packages
- Guide students in exploring various post-secondary options, including colleges, vocational schools, and career pathways
- Assist with the college application process, including crafting personal statements and providing recommendations
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Post Secondary Counseling, College and Career Readiness, or related fields
- Advanced Degree (MA, MS, MEd, or higher) in relevant educational fields
- Comprehensive knowledge of the college admissions process and alternative post-secondary options
- Experience working with neurodivergent students with learning disabilities is a plus
- Strong relationship-building skills in a virtual environment
