Post-Secondary Counselor

Job Summary

Providing personalized guidance to students, the full-time or part-time Post-Secondary Counselor will mentor individuals in exploring post-secondary options, manage the college application process, and utilize career readiness tools, all in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic virtual 1:1 counseling and teaching experiences focused on post-secondary preparation and enrichment
• Support students through the college application process, including essay development and financial planning resources
• Assist non-college bound students with career preparation, resume building, and interview techniques

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Post Secondary Counseling, College and Career Readiness, or related fields
• Advanced Degree (MA, MS, MEd, or higher) in a relevant discipline such as School Counseling or Educational Psychology
• Comprehensive knowledge of the college admissions process and alternative post-secondary options
• Experience with neurodivergent students and a passion for supporting adolescents
• Proficiency in building relationships in a remote environment and managing a dynamic caseload of students
