Power BI Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a long-term contract in the financial services industry, a senior-level Power BI Data Engineer will design, develop, and support scalable analytical solutions, leveraging over 7 years of business intelligence experience and expertise in Power BI and Snowflake, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI solutions for investment, risk, performance, and operational functions
- Optimize semantic models and create complex DAX and SQL queries to support analytical workloads
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and investment teams to ensure effective reporting solutions using large financial datasets
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in developing enterprise business intelligence or analytical solutions
- 5+ years of advanced hands-on experience with Power BI in production environments
- Expert-level skills in Power BI semantic modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with significant experience in Snowflake
- Direct experience in asset management or institutional investment sectors
