Power BI Developer
Job Summary
To lead enterprise-scale analytics initiatives, the remote Power BI Developer will manage the design, development, and governance of business intelligence solutions across the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem for a 3-month contract with potential extensions.
Key responsibilities
- Execute analytics initiatives from strategy through implementation, delivering measurable business outcomes
- Engage with senior stakeholders to build consensus and drive results across the organization
- Own the full Power BI development lifecycle, including semantic modeling, DAX development, and dashboard architecture
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy with a proven track record
- Expert SQL skills in complex query design and performance optimization
- Proficient in Power BI across the full development lifecycle, including RLS and self-service enablement
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Lakehouse and Data Warehouse design
- Background in fintech or financial services with an understanding of compliance and data sensitivity requirements
