Power BI Developer
Job Summary
Supporting analytics and reporting initiatives, the part-time Microsoft Power BI Developer will design and develop high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and governed data products, working remotely for 20-30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports
- Build and maintain semantic models, DAX measures, and reporting standards
- Implement security measures and optimize report performance and data refreshes
Required qualifications
- 6-8+ years of application development experience with Power BI
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Direct Lake
- Knowledge of row-level security and workspace governance
- Experience with deployment pipelines and performance optimization
