Power BI Developer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the contract Power BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports remotely, utilizing advanced features of Power BI and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and Power Query
- Build and optimize data models within the Power BI semantic layer for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective visualizations and reports
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer
- Deep understanding of data modelling concepts and semantic layer design
- Extensive experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake)
