Power Distribution Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time salaried Power Distribution Engineer / Senior Designer will manage electric utility aerial and underground distribution design projects, including field surveying, traffic control, and producing detailed design documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective and high-quality infrastructure solutions
- Coordinate design and review of distribution projects, including bill of materials and permit applications
- Perform field inspections and evaluations of distribution electrical systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical distribution systems
- 5-10 years of experience in the Power Distribution industry
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Familiarity with electrical standards such as NEC and NESC preferred
