Job Summary
Working remotely, the Power Distribution Engineer will manage electric utility aerial and underground distribution design projects, including field surveying and technical oversight of junior staff, while ensuring high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective infrastructure solutions
- Coordinate the design and review of distribution projects, including bill of materials and permit applications
- Perform field inspections and produce detailed design documentation for electrical distribution systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical distribution system design
- 5-10 years of experience in the Power Distribution industry
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Familiarity with electrical standards such as NEC and NESC preferred
