Job Summary
To expand its global team, a full-time remote Power System Engineer will design, build, test, and iterate on core autonomous grid planning products while managing grid data and supporting the power system analytics team and users.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop core autonomous grid planning products
- Manage and maintain detailed electricity network models
- Support the power system analytics team and users with data analysis and reporting
Required qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems
- At least 5 years of industry experience in utility, system operator, or engineering consultancy roles
- Hands-on experience with commercial power system analysis tools (e.g., PSSE, TARA, PowerWorld)
- Proficiency in Python for automating grid studies and data analysis
- High interconnection fluency and understanding of technical standards related to electricity grid planning
