Power Systems Design Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Power Systems Design Engineer (P&C).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical design packages for substation projects
- Conduct system protection studies and validate design accuracy
- Assist junior engineers and provide technical quality assurance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- EIT required; PE license strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-voltage substation protection and control design
- Proven expertise in relay logic and SCADA integration
- Strong commitment to mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers
