Power Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support electric distribution network modeling and analysis, the contract Power Systems Engineer - ADMS / Distribution will work remotely for a duration of 5 months, focusing on power-flow analysis, SCADA integration, and GIS/CIM network validation.
Key responsibilities
- Support ADMS and electric distribution network modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Perform power-flow analysis, convergence troubleshooting, and power-flow validation
- Validate GIS/CIM network models, including topology, connectivity, and load data
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of power engineering experience with distribution networks and OT systems
- Experience with AspenTech OSI, SCADA integration, and power-flow analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with FLISR, VVO/VVC, CVR, and DER modeling
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data validation techniques
