Job Summary
To expand the US team, a full-time remote Power Systems Engineer will design, build, test, and iterate on core autonomous grid planning products while managing grid data and models and supporting the power system analytics team and users.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop core autonomous grid planning products
- Manage and maintain detailed electricity network models
- Support the power system analytics team with data analysis and reporting
Required qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems
- At least 5 years of industry experience in utility, system operator, or engineering consultancy roles
- High interconnection fluency and understanding of technical standards related to electricity grid planning
- Hands-on experience with commercial power system analysis tools (e.g., PSSE, TARA, PowerWorld)
- Working knowledge in Python for automating grid studies and data analysis
