Pre-Registration Representative

Job Summary

To enhance patient experience, the full-time Pre-Registration Representative will verify patient demographics and insurance information, manage benefit eligibility, and assist in reducing patient wait times, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts pre-registration interviews with patients to obtain and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information
• Utilizes Benefit Collection tools to estimate out-of-pocket expenses and attempts to collect payments prior to services
• Documents all interactions with patients and insurance representatives to ensure accurate records and compliance with policies

Required qualifications

• 2 years of clerical experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, such as billing, patient accounting, or registration
• Bilingual skills are strongly preferred
• An approved equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience with EPIC is preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
