Pre-Service Financial Concierge
Job Summary
Receiving calls from patients regarding financial inquiries, the full-time Pre-Service Financial Concierge will manage account balances, verify benefits, and complete financial arrangements while working onsite during training and remotely thereafter.
Key responsibilities
- Handle patient calls related to account balances, payment plans, and financial questions
- Perform financial clearance for patient arrivals and review work queues for high dollar and out-of-network cases
- Verify patient demographics, benefits, and collect copays within specified timeframes
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a hospital CBO customer service or call center environment
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement methodologies
- CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate upon hire (preferred)
