Pre-Services Representative

Job Summary

Working full-time during the day with hybrid eligibility, the Pre-Services Representative will verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations for services, and manage patient financial responsibilities while handling inbound and outbound calls.

Key responsibilities:

• Confirm insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for services
• Educate patients and guarantors about financial responsibilities and collect pre-service payments
• Document patient interactions and update insurance information in the patient record for accurate billing

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• No prior experience required; preferred experience with hospital authorizations and health insurance knowledge
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with payment compliance and financial assistance options
