Prebill Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle management process, the remote hourly Prebill Specialist I will verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, ensuring accuracy before coding transport claims.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize system tools to locate and verify insurance and patient demographic information
• Accurately enter patient details and select appropriate modifiers and payors following established guidelines
• Achieve daily production and quality goals while adhering to HIPAA privacy policies

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of revenue cycle management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor groups
• Ability to learn state regulations and payor guidelines
• Experience working independently in a remote environment
