Prebill Specialist I

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time hourly basis, the Prebill Specialist I will verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, to ensure accurate transport claims prior to coding.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize system tools to locate and verify insurance and patient demographic information
• Accurately enter patient demographics and select appropriate modifiers and payors for transport claims
• Participate in Prebill Huddles and consistently meet or exceed daily production and quality goals

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of revenue cycle management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of health insurance verification and understanding of major payor groups
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations and payor guidelines
• Self-starter capable of managing responsibilities in a remote environment
