Leading the development of project proposals and ensuring thorough pricing and scoping, the full-time remote Preconstruction Manager will manage estimating, bid packaging, and constructability processes from pursuit through award.
Key responsibilities
- Develop estimates and bid templates using estimating technology
- Lead vendor strategy and manage bid processes, including RFIs and bid leveling
- Assemble comprehensive proposal packages including scope, procurement plans, and schedules
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial preconstruction, estimating, or bid packaging
- Hands-on estimating experience with maintained basis-of-estimate files
- Proven vendor coverage practices and ability to write procurement plans
- Experience building critical-path bid schedules and work-package structures
