Pricing and Rating Analyst
Job Summary
To support the insurance sector, the full-time remote Pricing and Rating Analyst will apply P&C insurance rating principles, configure rates in various pricing platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance pricing methodologies.
Key responsibilities
- Configure rates and inputs in Earnix, Ratabase, and Radar systems while integrating with policy administration systems
- Translate actuarial specifications into functional specifications and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria in JIRA
- Manage backlog and facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring effective communication between business and IT stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Ratabase, Radar pricing platforms, and Python, including libraries such as PySpark, NumPy, and Pandas
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance rating principles and the end-to-end premium flow in policy life cycles
- Proven ability to partner with pricing, underwriting, and predictive modeling teams
- Experience in agile environments using tools like JIRA, JWM, or Rally for work reporting
- Ability to document code and data conversion processes for traceability and transparency
