Job Summary

A company in the healthcare industry is seeking a Principal Actuarial Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver projects utilizing complex actuarial principles and practices
Develop bid pricing models, review IBNR reserves, and perform ad hoc analysis in support of actuarial goals
Support provider contracting activities by customizing models to evaluate financial implications of contract changes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Services, Mathematics, Statistics required
Associateship in the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Health Care IBNR valuation, health care cost trend analysis, contract analysis experience in provider group or payer settings, Medicare Advantage bids or other equivalent health policies
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality
