Principal AI Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Principal AI Engineer, this remote position will provide technical leadership in architecting and implementing systems that integrate symbolic and data-driven AI techniques while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring well-documented architectural choices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and apply cutting-edge research in AI and natural language processing to address real-world challenges
- Collaborate with project leadership to translate customer requirements into technical milestones
- Demonstrate strong judgement in deploying solutions, whether off-the-shelf, customized, or through applied research projects
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent deep technical experience
- Proven experience as an AI Engineer or Applied Research Engineer in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency with Git and Unix shell, with proficiency in multiple programming languages, ideally including Python, C++, or C#
- Deep understanding of integrating AI agents into production software, including API design and containerization
- Strong mathematical background in logic, linear algebra, probability, and statistics
