Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Principal AI Engineer specializing in Agentic Systems, the successful candidate will design, build, and scale AI-powered applications and intelligent tooling to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Vuori's AI platform and technical standards while establishing engineering best practices for AI development
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and workflows that address high-impact business challenges
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify AI opportunities that drive measurable business value and monitor solution performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in building and operating production AI systems
• Demonstrated experience with agentic systems, including planning, reasoning, and memory in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with building APIs and cloud-native applications
• Experience integrating AI systems with enterprise APIs, databases, and business systems
