Principal Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

As the most senior individual contributor for the enterprise data platform, the full-time remote Principal Analytics Engineer will own the strategy, architecture, and administration of Snowflake, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and governance while enabling trusted analytics and AI capabilities across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the enterprise Snowflake platform and its supporting data ecosystem
• Design and oversee data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and serving patterns across Snowflake and complementary technologies
• Lead the technical enablement of AI use cases and establish reusable engineering patterns to improve quality and delivery across the data team

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud data architecture
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrated success as a senior technical authority, influencing cross-functional decisions and mentoring engineers
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and deep understanding of data modeling and production engineering practices
