Principal Application Architect
Job Summary
To support innovative healthcare solutions, the full-time remote Principal Application Architect will provide architectural oversight for complex applications, evaluate new technologies, and act as a liaison with third-party vendors while driving operational improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Provides architectural oversight for the development of complex applications and integrates components built by developers
- Evaluates new technologies and conducts technical research, testing, and documentation of hosting/configuration tools
- Acts as a liaison between vendors and the company to ensure applications meet product standards and guidelines
Required qualifications
- Ten or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience
- Experience with architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF
- Strong background in the healthcare industry, preferably Medicaid
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and client requirements
