Principal Applied AI Scientist

Job Summary

Designing and developing AI-driven applications, the full-time Principal Applied AI Scientist will create and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines while working remotely to transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable insights and predictive intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications for actionable insights from geospatial data
• Build and operate end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion and production inference
• Optimize models and inference systems for scalability and reliability on cloud infrastructure

Required qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering end-to-end ML pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience deploying models into production using modern cloud infrastructure
