Principal Architect
Job Summary
Leading the Architecture team, the remote Principal Architect will drive the development of the technical roadmap, manage architectural standards, and oversee platform upgrades while actively participating in coding alongside the team.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the technical roadmap by identifying cross-team dependencies and planning quarterly initiatives
- Establish architectural standards and patterns for component development and integration into existing applications
- Steward platform technologies and coordinate major upgrades while addressing cross-team technical debt
Required qualifications
- Proven experience as a hands-on architect with a background in leading production SaaS platform architecture
- Deep expertise in .NET, with additional experience in Angular, Azure, and AWS preferred
- Strong understanding of systems and integration architecture, including API exposure and security
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a focus on making architecture accessible for both engineers and coding agents
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding engineering teams and fostering a collaborative environment
