Principal Architect

Job Summary

To drive architectural vision and business goals, the full-time Principal Architect will provide end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of banking applications while leveraging Agile methodologies and cloud technologies, with the flexibility of 100% remote work from any US location.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant banking applications using modern technologies such as Microservices, TypeScript, and AWS
• Collaborate with business, product management, software engineering, and cybersecurity teams to present architectural designs for review and approval
• Oversee the full software development life cycle, ensuring efficient development of cloud-native applications and conducting performance monitoring and system tuning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8 years of progressive experience as a Principal Architect or in a related software development role
• Expertise in Microservice design patterns, AWS Cloud, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, NodeJS, and Python, as well as experience with cloud-native application architecture
• Experience with security frameworks and tools, including Ping Identity and Fortify
