Principal Architect

Job Summary

Driving the end-to-end design and delivery of machine learning and Generative AI solutions, the full-time remote Principal Architect will leverage Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python to create efficient ML pipelines and scalable data processing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and GenAI solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Architect large-scale data engineering initiatives, making critical architecture decisions across cloud ecosystems and lakehouse platforms
• Establish best practices in MLOps and DataOps, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for production-grade AI solutions

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience, or Master's degree and 4 years, or Bachelor's degree and 6 years, or Associate's degree and 10 years, or High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI systems
• Proven experience in leading production-grade ML/GenAI systems with measurable business impact
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering solutions
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in data engineering and AI/ML development
