Principal Architect AI Development

Job Summary

Leading the architecture for AI-native development, the full-time Principal Architect, AI-Native Developer Experience will define technical vision, experiment with emerging technologies, and establish engineering practices while working remotely across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for AI-native development, documenting key decisions
• Track and experiment with emerging models and developer tools, turning successful concepts into supported practices
• Architect agentic workflows and modernize the developer experience, ensuring effective collaboration between engineers and coding agents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 7 years in software architecture or technical leadership
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and a proven track record of implementing practices or tools for engineers
• Experience in building production LLM systems and designing CI/CD processes at scale
• Strong understanding of SaaS architecture fundamentals and fluency in relevant technology stacks (PHP, React, MySQL)
