Job Summary
To support the growth of cloud storage solutions, the full-time Principal Architect - Object Storage will shape the architecture of the storage platform, focusing on S3 core services and database technologies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive technical solutioning and analysis for core roadmap initiatives, particularly for AI-related customer demands
- Design and influence the architecture of large-scale object storage and database systems supporting the cloud platform
- Build hands-on proofs of concept to validate architectural ideas and assist engineering teams in production handoff
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, database engineering, or distributed systems at a senior technical level
- Deep expertise in AWS S3 and large-scale object storage platforms
- Expert-level knowledge of database architecture, including relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Go, Java, or Python
- Proven experience in designing and improving scalable systems in high-performance environments
