Principal Biostatistician
Job Summary
Leading statistical activities for clinical trials, the full-time remote Principal Biostatistician will oversee Phase I-III studies, provide statistical input for protocols and reports, and mentor junior statisticians while collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as lead biostatistician for programs and individual studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Review and approve statistical methods sections of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and deliverables
- Prepare research proposals and budgets, and participate in bid defense meetings with prospective clients
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
- 9+ years of biostatistical experience with a Master's degree or 7+ years with a Ph.D
- Experience leading Phase I-III studies with client-facing responsibilities
- Regulatory experience, including handling NDA applications
- Proficiency in programming using SAS and/or R for inferential statistics
