Principal Business Architect
Job Summary
To support the Army's logistics and installation management initiatives, the remote Principal Business Architect will conceptualize and maintain enterprise architecture models, provide technical analysis, and ensure compliance with federal guidelines while living within commuting distance of Arlington, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expertise in generating integrated design views for installation management and logistics operations
- Document compliance plans and assess system capabilities in accordance with Army guidance
- Prepare architecture models and translate customer needs into process specifications for system design
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Process Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher clearance
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in business enterprise architecture
- Proven experience in process and portfolio analysis within government agencies
- Familiarity with government-specific business process modeling tools, such as BPMN
