Principal CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support a high-impact silicon development team, the full-time Principal CAD Engineer will develop process development kit elements, configure EDA tools, and support design teams while working onsite in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Key responsibilities
- Develop process development kit elements, including DRC, LVS, and Extraction rule decks
- Setup and configure EDA tools for design teams and support circuit and layout designers
- Administer and support user accounts on Linux Operating Systems and assist in debugging design tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience or MS with 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years in a design and/or design automation field
- Experience with Physical Verification Tools (DRC/LVS/Extraction tools)
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Cadence Skill, Perl, Python, or C
- Experience supporting Linux operating systems and working with CMOS silicon processes
