Principal Clinical Data Manager

Job Summary

Working independently and in collaboration with management, the full-time Principal Clinical Data Manager will oversee data management tasks from study start-up through database lock for clinical research projects, ensuring data quality and leading a team of Clinical Data Managers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data management tasks for mid-to-large complex clinical research projects, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Data Managers, facilitating training on project-specific and general data management processes
• Promote efficient operations and knowledge sharing within the data management team and across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years in clinical data management and 4 years in project leadership
• Thorough knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines and clinical research regulations
• Experience with contract research organization (CRO) operations and relationships with pharmaceutical/biotech companies
• Proficient in clinical trial databases and applications, with a strong ability to learn new technologies
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence project teams effectively
