Principal Clinical Database Developer
Job Summary
To support the advancement of clinical research, the full-time Principal Clinical Database Developer will design and configure electronic data capture systems, provide expertise in clinical database development, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and configures electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and provides expert consultation on clinical database design
- Implements complex data migration plans and ensures streamlined system configuration across various clinical data systems
- Performs quality control, testing, and verification activities for eCRFs and data systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an analytic, technical, programming, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 7-9 years of progressive clinical database development experience with a strong understanding of clinical research and Agile processes
- Experience with eCRF design and specifications development
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming, including the implementation of data validation checks
- Deep understanding of CDISC standards such as CDASH and SDTM, along with clinical trial methodology
