Principal Cloud Architect
Job Summary
Leading cross-functional teams, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and OCI while developing long-term cloud strategies to ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Provides strategic oversight in managing and optimizing multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance and security
- Designs and develops service offerings for platform engineering and oversees their implementation
- Acts as a technical resource to recommend cloud solutions and provides thought leadership in cloud-native technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 15 years of software engineering and application modernization experience, with a minimum of 5 years in cloud and microservices design
- Demonstrable experience optimizing Kubernetes workloads on cloud platforms
- Proven experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives
- Hands-on experience designing and scaling digital applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure
