Principal Cloud Security Engineer
Job Summary
Building secure-by-default AWS platform patterns, the full-time Principal Cloud Security Engineer will design and implement guardrails across a multi-account environment while collaborating with various teams to enhance cloud security through code-driven practices in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement secure AWS account and baseline guardrail patterns across multi-account environments
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and policy-as-code to enhance security and traceability
- Collaborate with Platform and Architecture teams to establish centralized logging and security controls
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure engineering, or cloud security with a focus on AWS
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS security engineering within multi-account environments
- Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform, including reusable modules
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as C#, Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript
- Experience with policy-as-code and preventive guardrails for cloud security
