Principal Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To secure the organization's multi-cloud environment, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Security Engineer will implement cloud-native security practices, enforce zero trust principles, and modernize identity and access management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures following best practices and security frameworks
• Deploy and manage Azure-native security services and develop cloud-native security controls
• Conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for cloud services and respond to security incidents

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud and/or infrastructure security, with 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure or multi-cloud environments
• Strong expertise in cloud-native security engineering tooling and identity and access management
• Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, CSPM, and cloud workload protection platforms
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and cloud security governance models
