Principal Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Summary
To support NetApp's Hyperscaler 1st party cloud storage services, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Solutions Architect will engage with strategic enterprise customers, design and architect cloud solutions, and lead technical validation activities in a pre-sales capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify customer opportunities and identify strategic workloads for hyperscaler cloud adoption
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures utilizing NetApp services and hyperscaler solutions
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and lead proof-of-concept activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience
- 8+ years in a customer-facing Solutions Architect or equivalent role
- At least five years' experience with hyperscaler infrastructure providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI
- Professional-level hyperscaler architecture certification preferred or expected within an agreed onboarding period
