Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant - Databricks, this full-time remote position will own the technical vision and architecture for complex Azure Databricks engagements, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define target-state architecture, principles, standards, and roadmaps for Azure Databricks engagements
- Lead discovery and architecture workshops to translate business and security needs into actionable solution designs
- Architect secure and scalable Lakehouse platforms, overseeing ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data and analytics consulting, including 5+ years with Databricks or Lakehouse solutions
- 3+ years in senior technical leadership or principal-level consulting roles
- Deep expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and data engineering practices
- Strong command of CI/CD practices and Git-based development
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and stakeholders
